Ayeshia Adenugba
Ayeshia Adenugba is committed to providing a safe, empathic, and welcoming environment where clients feel free to express themselves without fear of judgment. She believes that therapy is not one-size-fits-all and tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Drawing from both person-centred and psychodynamic theories, she adopts an integrative approach to support clients on their journey toward greater self-awareness and growth. Ayeshia is passionate about empowering clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, helping them build resilience and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges more effectively.
With a diverse background that includes roles as a support worker, student mentor, NHS volunteer, and sales assistant, Ayeshia has cultivated valuable skills in understanding and supporting people from various walks of life. Her experiences have enabled her to offer a compassionate and empathetic perspective while building strong connections with the individuals she supports. She has developed a deep appreciation for the importance of active listening, empathy, and providing a non-judgmental space for clients to express themselves.
Currently training as an integrative counsellor, Ayeshia is working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology and Counselling. Her academic training has enriched her clinical understanding and strengthened her commitment to delivering high-quality therapeutic support. She currently practices within The Awareness Centre’s NHS Lambeth Counselling Service.
