Caroline Clark is a qualified integrative counsellor and member of the BACP. She works in The Awareness Centre’s low-cost counselling service and has previously worked within their NHS partnership service where she worked with a diverse range of clients. Caroline is working towards further qualification as a psychotherapist.

Caroline is an empathetic listener who works relationally to support clients explore whatever challenges or difficulties in life they may be experiencing. She understands that life is challenging and we go through periods of feeling stuck, lost, unfulfilled or anxious. As an integrative therapist Caroline is able to bring different ways of working depending on what the client brings either through exploring early life attachment styles and history, or current negative thought patterns or feelings of anxiety, always creating a trusting environment for clients to work at their own pace. Holding the belief that we all have the capacity within to cope, grow and change through these difficult periods Caroline provides an empathetic, listening and supportive space for clients to explore past and present experiences and emotions to help move towards a more fulfilling life.

Having been a leader in the health and wellbeing industry for many years Caroline currently works for a charity supporting the mental health and wellbeing of those working in education. She understands the pressures of modern living and the challenges of trying to achieve work/ life balance. Often this leads to self criticism, anxiety and relationship difficulties or feelings of being stuck or overwhelmed. Through supporting a client explore the emotions these difficulties give rise to Caroline believes that each person is unique and has the inner resources to cope, grow and resolve conflict and lead a more satisfying life.
