Carolyn Davies is an integrative counsellor and is registered with the BACP.  She works within The Awareness Centre’s low-cost counselling service in Clapham. Carolyn is in the final months of a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Coaching.

Carolyn offers a warm, collaborative space where clients can explore what matters most to them, at a pace that feels manageable. She works within the framework of Personal Consultancy,  to support both emotional healing and personal growth. Grounded in a person-centred approach, Carolyn also draws on tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Nonviolent Communication (NVC) supporting clients to connect with their values and build psychological flexibility. Her integrative way of working means she tailors each session to the individual, whether the focus is on processing difficult emotions, navigating change, or moving toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Before training as a therapist, Carolyn spent two decades working as a Factual Television Producer in a fast-paced, high-pressure industry. First-hand experience of workplace stress and complex professional dynamics has shaped her interest in supporting clients facing similar challenges. Carolyn is also a Certified Trainer with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication, and integrates this approach into her work with clients who want to relate more effectively to others or navigate conflict with greater clarity and care. She has a particular interest in working with both men and women dealing with professional stress, burnout, or difficult workplace relationships.
