Chenae’s counselling style is calm, laid-back, and client-led, while gently facilitated to maintain focus. She creates a space where clients feel safe, heard, and free from judgment. Therapy moves at the client’s pace, allowing time for reflection and healing. Person-centred work helps establish rapport, while CBT supports emotional and behavioural awareness. Psychodynamic insights gently explore past experiences that may be influencing current challenges. Chenae supports clients in gaining self-awareness, building resilience, and working towards a more fulfilling life.

Chenae has a background in working with children and adults with special needs, as well as in environments affected by family breakdown. These experiences shaped her understanding of emotional resilience and the need for support. She brings compassion and a grounded approach to her work. Chenae recognises how social and emotional stressors can contribute to anxiety, frustration, and isolation.

Chenae Beaumont is an integrative counsellor working within the NHS Lambeth service at The Awareness Centre. She is currently working towards a degree in Integrative Counselling and is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
