Danielle Lisbon – Senior Counselling Manager

Danielle Lisbon is the Senior Counselling Manager at The Awareness Centre. She oversees the delivery and development of the counselling services, including the recruitment and support of therapists across both the Low Cost and Private Counselling Services.

Danielle has had a unique professional journey that bridges high-pressure corporate environments and compassionate therapeutic practice. Having previously led teams in multiple corporate roles alongside being a mental health first aider, she has first hand experience of the intense demands, expectations, and stresses many people face in the workplace and in their personal lives.

Now qualified as a counsellor, Danielle brings a holistic approach into her clinical work, supporting both clients and counselling teams with compassion & empathy. Danielle has recently supported the development of future counsellors as a co-tutor and coach for those studying for their Level 2 Therapeutic Counselling qualification.

Danielle is passionate about promoting wellbeing alongside ethical practice, and is committed to creating supportive spaces where individuals feel heard, valued, and are empowered to navigate personal and professional challenges.
