Denise Parram-Bryan
Denise Parram-Bryan has a genuine compassion for humanity and has volunteered for the NHS in various capacities, as well as mentored secondary school teenagers, for their mental health and well-being. Denise is an integrative psychodynamic therapist, offering genuine warmth, empathic understanding and a non-judgemental space to enable a therapeutic relationship to grow organically with her clients.
Denise’s career history spans back twenty years. Working within the fashion industry she spent time travelling across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, embracing a spectrum of cultures during her travels around the world. Working with diverse communities anchored by her interpersonal, communication skills, cultural compassion, and due diligence.
As a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Denise embeds the BACP (2018) ethical framework of values and principles within her therapeutic work, placing the client’s well-being at the centre of her practice. Denise is currently working to complete her vocational studies, Level 5 CPCAB psychotherapeutic counselling. Her special interests are relational trauma, racialised trauma, racial identity issues, anxiety and depression. Denise works as an employed therapist with The Awareness Centre’s NHS Wandsworth Talking Therapies Service.
