Diane Margaret
Diane Margaret is a trainee counsellor and student member of the BACP. She is working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and works within The Awareness Centre’s low cost counselling service in Clapham.
Diane is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, providing a compassionate and safe space for self-reflection, understanding, and healing. Through a person-centred approach, she believes in each person’s inherent potential for growth and change. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of her work. Diane respects clients as the experts in their own lives, offering a space where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace. With empathy and warmth, she creates a non-judgemental environment where clients feel heard, seen, and valued. She listens deeply, trusting in their capacity to find their own answers and encouraging personal growth and self-compassion. By promoting autonomy and acknowledging each client’s feelings, she fosters a space where exploration, healing, and self-discovery can unfold naturally.
Diane volunteers with a leading mental health charity, supporting individuals facing a range of challenges, from isolation and depression to suicidal ideation.
