Esther offers a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace, with the understanding that each person’s experience is unique. She commits to bringing a grounded and attentive presence to her sessions to create an environment where clients feel truly heard and valued. Esther draws on her understanding of trauma and the nervous system to inform her practice, recognising how past experiences can shape emotional and physical well-being. Her integrative approach is flexible and tailored to the individual, drawing on mindfulness-based techniques, cognitive-behavioural strategies, and person-centred principles to help clients manage challenges, build resilience, and uncover their inner strengths. She is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible space for clients to explore their concerns and work toward a more fulfilling life.

With a PhD in behavioural change, Esther brings a deep understanding of the complexities of human experience. She has extensive experience in higher education, supporting the well-being of staff and students through mindfulness and stress management sessions, and helping them navigate academic and personal challenges. Esther believes therapy provides an opportunity for individuals to reconnect with their true selves and live more authentically, free from the constraints of fear, self-doubt, or limiting beliefs. She is passionate about helping clients find their way into a life where they feel empowered to be who they truly are.

Esther Anaya-Boig is a trainee integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
