Hannah Hancock-Huxley – Senior NHS Team Leader, Wandsworth & Sutton

Hannah uses her experience as an integrative counsellor, psychotherapist, supervisor, and tutor to support therapists within our NHS Talking Therapies service as Senior NHS Team Leader for Wandsworth & Sutton. She provides comprehensive training and ongoing operational guidance, working alongside NHS stakeholder teams to support therapists’ professional development through ethical practice, risk assessment, and therapeutic boundaries.

Drawing upon 27+ years of clinical experience, Hannah ensures clients receive compassionate, trauma-informed care that acknowledges the complexity of their experiences. Her background includes extensive NHS service where she supported patients through diverse healthcare challenges. She has worked across NHS open-ended therapy services, charity organisations, and within bereavement support—a role she found deeply rewarding and privileged, supporting vulnerable individuals through their grief journeys.

Hannah is passionate about clinical supervision and therapeutic education, which she integrates throughout her work. Her leadership style emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and maintaining the highest standards of client care.

She is currently pursuing her MSc in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing at the University of Wolverhampton, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development. A fully qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, Hannah is registered with the BACP and accredited by the NCPS. Originally trained within NHS Wandsworth and Lambeth services, she brings valued local knowledge and deep understanding of community needs to her role. Outside of her NHS Senior Team Leader position, Hannah maintains a private practice and provides clinical supervision, continuing to develop the therapeutic workforce while supporting individual clients in their healing journeys.
