Lisa March - Counselling Manager
Lisa March is the Counselling Manager at The Awareness Centre, where she oversees the delivery and development of the counselling services, including the recruitment and support of therapists across both the Low Cost and Private Counselling Services. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive, ethical, and professional environment for both practitioners and clients.
Before qualifying as a therapeutic counsellor, Lisa spent 14 years in corporate management, developing strong leadership, communication, and client service skills. Motivated by a longstanding passion for supporting others, she transitioned into counselling, returning to education to pursue a more meaningful and people-focused career.
During her training, Lisa worked in schools and colleges, where she saw first-hand the value of a kind and empathetic first point of contact- an approach she continues to prioritise in her work today. Since qualifying, she has worked with children, young people, and families across educational and community settings, supporting them to overcome challenges and strengthen their sense of resilience and hope.
