Nora Selmeczi offers a compassionate and collaborative space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns in a way that fosters self-awareness and meaningful change. She believes that early life experiences shape the way we relate to ourselves and others and works with clients to uncover and understand these unconscious influences. She also integrates psychoeducation and grounding techniques where appropriate to support emotional regulation.

With a corporate background in media and experience in neurodivergence support, Nora brings a deep understanding of identity, difference, and systemic influences on mental health. Her experience working with neurodivergent adults informs her sensitivity to the unique challenges they face, including masking, burnout, and self-acceptance. She has a particular interest in working with issues related to anxiety, relational difficulties, and self-worth, helping clients navigate life transitions and personal growth in a way that aligns with their values and lived experience.

Nora is an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor working within The Awareness Centre’s NHS counselling service. She is a registered member of the BACP and is currently working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling and certification in Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Her approach is primarily informed by attachment theory and psychodynamic principles on a solid foundation of person-centred and solution-focused techniques to create a warm, accepting therapeutic space.
