Nosheen Aslam is an integrative counsellor in training, she draws on a variety of therapeutic approaches to support the individual needs and experiences of each client. She believes in creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients can feel comfortable exploring their inner world and developing greater self-awareness. Grounded in a person-centred approach, Nosheen works with empathy, compassion, and unconditional positive regard, encouraging clients to feel genuinely accepted, heard, and valued. Her sessions offer a calm and thoughtful space; somewhere that can hold whatever feels difficult, confusing, or unresolved. Nosheen works at the client’s pace, with sensitivity and curiosity, allowing space for reflection, self-discovery, and the possibility of meaningful and lasting personal change. Alongside her counselling work, she also works in education, supporting young people who are struggling with their mental health. Her professional background includes working in the charity sector, where she developed a strong commitment to supporting others in diverse and often challenging circumstances. Nosheen was inspired to train as a therapist after her own meaningful experience of therapy, which deepened her appreciation for the healing potential of a safe, supportive, and trusting therapeutic relationship. Nosheen is currently working towards her Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling and is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), adhering to their ethical framework and professional standards. She is in her second year of training and is currently seeing clients within The Awareness Centre’s NHS Service in Lambeth.
