Rachel Kraftman is a person-centred therapist. She holds a higher professional diploma in counselling and psychotherapy, and is a registered member of the BACP. Rachel works in private practice at The Awareness Centre in Clapham, offering a supportive, confidential space to talk openly and at your own pace.

Rachel’s approach is grounded in the belief that real change happens when you feel heard, accepted, and understood. Rachel will work together with you to explore what’s going on for you, make sense of past experiences, and find new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Rachel has worked in a variety of settings, including an addiction recovery agency, a women’s health centre, and a secondary school. She therefore has experience working with a wide range of issues, including sexuality, chronic illness, gender identity, anger, anxiety, relationship difficulties, addiction and historic abuse.

Before becoming a therapist, she worked in theatre and brings a deep appreciation for creativity, stories, and the many different ways people find meaning in their lives.
