Sara Kennett has a particular interest in psychodynamic therapy, as well as somatic and trauma informed therapy. She seeks to offer a warm and inclusive space, where people are met with empathy and care and can explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences at their own pace.  Sara deeply values the variety of human experience and believes that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. She believes that each person is the expert in their own lives and seeks to journey with clients as they face life’s difficulties. Sara considers therapy to be a collaborative space, where clients are supported to gain awareness into their experiences and emotions. She is committed to promoting the wellbeing of each person she works with. She believes that change is possible for all people and recognises that often each one of us needs the support and encouragement of others, when we face times of difficulty and trauma.

Sara has a background in youth work and pastoral ministry, often supporting people at moments of transition and difficulty. Having suffered with a chronic health condition Sara is also deeply interested in the connection between the body and the mind. She seeks to take a holistic approach to therapy, centred on building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients so that they can feel truly seen and heard.

Sara is an integrative counsellor and a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She works with Lambeth NHS Talking Therapies and is currently working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
