Sarah Griffiths
Sarah is a fully qualified Counselling Psychologist and Integrative Psychotherapist with over eight years’ clinical experience in the NHS and private practice. Sarah is a registered psychologist with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and holds Chartered Membership with the British Psychological Society (BPS). She is also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
She offers psychotherapy for a wide range of emotional difficulties. Using a relational, integrative approach, she draws on a range of psychological theories depending on each person’s individual needs and goals. Whether this is to explore the impact of early life experiences and important relationships, or find a way out of anxiety, low mood or stress. Sarah will work with clients to make sense of their difficulties from a place of curiosity and compassion.
Sarah offers a confidential space where clients can talk through what is going on for them. From a relationship of trust and safety. Sarah will help clients develop insight into the meaning behind their difficulties, explore alternative perspectives on their situations and feel more in control of their lives. She recognises that finding a therapist can take time. Sarah invites prospective clients to attend an initial face-to-face consultation to discuss their concerns and explore whether working together would be a good fit. They then agree on a focus for the therapeutic work, with opportunities to review this along the way.
Sarah currently divides her time between working as a psychologist in one of London’s leading NHS eating disorder services and her private practice. She has a particular interest in questions of identity.
