Sheba Boakye-Duah takes a holistic and person-centred approach to therapy, offering a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences, thoughts, and emotions. Her work is grounded in existential principles, focusing on themes such as meaning, identity, freedom, and responsibility. She believes in addressing the interconnected nature of the mind, body, and emotions, recognising that true wellbeing stems from understanding and balancing all aspects of one’s life.

With a professional background in health and education, Sheba brings a unique perspective to her work as a therapist. She began her career in Exercise, Nutrition, and Health, working as a personal trainer and sports massage therapist, where she supported individuals in improving their physical health and overall wellbeing. She later transitioned into education, teaching and mentoring young adults while managing programmes that combined life skills, health education, and personal development. Her work has also extended to supporting individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, helping to address barriers to progress and inclusion. She has a rich professional background in health, education, and wellbeing, with extensive experience supporting individuals to enhance their physical, emotional, and psychological health. Sheba is passionate about creating accessible and supportive environments. Her work with neurodiverse individuals and wellbeing-focused initiatives has given her a deeper understanding of the unique challenges people face. This, alongside her experience facilitating holistic wellbeing workshops, informs her therapeutic practice and her ability to engage with clients from all walks of life.

Sheba is a trainee existential psychotherapist and counsellor, currently pursuing a PhD in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling and working within The Awareness Centre’s NHS Service in Lambeth.
