Yolanda Fei helps clients build self-awareness so choices follow values rather than inherited scripts. She supports the development of self-esteem through clear, realistic self-understanding. Her work attends to attachment patterns shaped by early experiences and how these influence intimate relationships today. In sessions, she offers a steady, non-judgmental space to notice patterns and name them. Over time, this clarity supports freer, self-authored choices and a life that feels genuinely your own. Overall, she integrates reflective understanding of early life with focused work in the room to build a steadier sense of self and support confident choices in close relationships.

Yolanda works integratively, drawing on psychodynamic and person-centred approaches. She combines psychological formulation with the here-and-now therapeutic process, informed by a Master’s in Developmental and Educational Psychology (UCL) and ongoing diploma training in integrative counselling. The focus is to clarify how early experiences—including developmental and relational trauma—inform current patterns and choices. She does not prescribe solutions; rather, she prioritises a steady, non-judgmental therapeutic alliance, recognising that difficulties formed in relationship are often repaired within a safe, collaborative relationship. This provides a structured yet compassionate setting in which to explore memories, consider new ways of relating, and support change at a manageable pace.

Yolanda is a trainee integrative counsellor working within The Awareness Centre’s NHS Talking Therapies service at Lambeth Talking Therapy. She is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is currently working towards BACP accreditation.
