Zoe Tyrrell is a trainee counsellor and a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She holds an MSc in Psychology and is currently working towards a Diploma in Integrative Counselling. With over five years’ experience providing therapeutic support across a range of settings, Zoe brings a thoughtful, compassionate and grounded approach to her work.

Her practice is informed by both academic study and varied experience supporting individuals through emotional distress, mental health crises and periods of acute vulnerability, including times when people may feel overwhelmed, stuck or unsure how to keep going. Zoe’s professional background includes providing support within the domestic abuse sector, NHS Talking Therapies, and mental health crisis and suicide prevention services. Through these roles, she has supported individuals experiencing a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, low self-esteem and significant life changes or transitions. In addition to complex and long-term relational challenges, which may include power and control dynamics.

She works collaboratively with an open, warm and attuned presence, supporting clients to explore their experiences at their own pace. Zoe places strong importance on developing a meaningful therapeutic relationship, offering support that helps clients build selfcompassion, self-awareness and a greater sense of agency during difficult or transitional periods of life. Zoe works in an integrative way, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches. Her practice is strongly influenced by a bodymind Gestalt approach, alongside exploration of existential concerns and elements of transactional analysis to support understanding of relational patterns and dynamics.
