Chisom Deborah is a Course Supervisor for the TAC training school. She is a qualified Person-Centred Therapist and Clinical Supervisor, with a diploma in Trauma Therapy and over 10 years of therapeutic experience. She is a registered member of the BACP and has been running her own private practice for the past 6 years. Chisom’s supervision experience extends to supporting staff working in schools, children’s care homes and more recently as a clinical supervisor at The Awareness Centre Training School.

With a diverse range of experience, Chisom has worked therapeutically with individuals from varied backgrounds and age groups, including children and young adults facing complex emotional and psychological challenges. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centred theory, and she brings a deep understanding of trauma-informed practices to her work.

Chisom adopts a collaborative, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach in her supervision practice. She believes in the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with her supervisees. Her goal is to support supervisees in developing their clinical skills, while encouraging self-awareness, professional growth, and emotional resilience. With a focus on both the personal and professional aspects of the therapist’s journey, she aims to provide a safe space where supervisees feel supported in their work and empowered to reach their full potential as practitioners.
