Karen Lofters – Senior Academic Coordinator

Karen Lofters is a Senior Academic Coordinator for The Awareness Centre Training School. Her role is to support students and tutors, and to ensure that all courses run smoothly. She supports students, staff and the faculty to ensure course objectives are met, and accurate school records are maintained.

Karen is a qualified Integrative counsellor, who is registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and is working towards her accreditation. She has successfully completed her counselling placement at The Awareness Centre and understands both the academic and practical elements involved in the trainee counsellor’s journey.

With a wealth of administrative experience within the Government sector, Karen is passionate and focussed when helping and supporting clients and staff. She has great communication skills and has liaised with various multi agencies and is dedicated to meeting the needs of the organisation. Karen works privately as a Counsellor, offering an empathetic and warm therapeutic approach, helping individuals to look deeper into their thoughts and feelings, whilst also supporting individuals through their healing journey.
