Maria Bulgakova – Course Supervisor

Maria Bulgakova is the Course Supervisor for the TAC Diploma in Integrative Counselling. Her work draws on psychodynamic, person-centred, transactional analysis, and Gestalt approaches, with a developing interest in Jungian and group analysis. She also holds a qualification as a PCE-CfD supervisor.

Grounded in a trauma-informed approach, Maria’s therapeutic practice focuses on recovery and healing. She has over a decade of experience working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence and abuse, and provides group therapy specialising in trauma and PTSD, drawing on her expertise in creating safe and reflective spaces in which to process complex experiences.

Maria has worked in NHS-funded services, as well as in national and small charities, as a supervisor and clinical manager. She has supported counsellors in training and those in the early stages of practice. She understands the challenges newer therapists may face and offers guidance alongside a reflective space for professional growth.
