Mariana Hernandez – Lead Foundation Tutor

Mariana Hernandez is a lead tutor for the Foundation Certificate in Counselling. She trained as an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and is also trained in EMDR for trauma treatment. She is experienced in working with self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, early childhood trauma and its impact on adult life, and a whole wide range of emotional problems that arise during a person’s lifespan, such as bereavement, finding purpose and meaning in a new season of life.

Mariana aims to provide a facilitating space for her students where learning is co-created. She strongly believes that we learn from everyone in the room and hopefully build together a greater awareness and understanding of self and others.
