
Michael McLinn – Diploma Tutor
Michael McLinn is a Counselling Psychotherapist with ten years experience and is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. He is a visiting tutor on the Diploma in Integrative Counselling Diploma.
Michael’s work began with a focus on perinatal mental health and early parenting. In later, independent practice, he has focused on sex, gender and sexuality, kink and ethical non-monogamy, family estrangement and more broadly, the queer community. Michael participated in the recent Pink Therapy consultation on the law to ban conversion therapy. He has a particular interest in working with queer adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Michael’s teaching equips students with confidence that clients desiring a diverse range of outcomes can achieve therapeutic change.
