
ShediYah HatNebMaoo – Lead Diploma Tutor/Course Supervisor
ShediYah HatNebMaoo is a Lead Tutor and Course Supervisor for the TAC Diploma in Integrative Counselling. She is a qualified Transpersonal Child, Adolescent & Family Therapist (MA), Intercultural Counsellor, and Clinical Supervisor. As a registered member of the BACP, she adheres to its ethical code and professional standards, ensuring integrity and depth in her work with both clients and students.
ShediYah has over two decades of experience working in private practice which spans across working with local authorities, across all levels of the education system, youth services,and working in collaboration with other practitioners to deliver services to women and children experiencing trauma and fleeing domestic abuse. She specialises in working creatively interlacing an integrative approach drawing on Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Transpersonal theories.
In her educational role, she offers more than academic instruction – she creates a space where students are nurtured and challenged, supporting them as they grow into thoughtful, reflexive practitioners. ShediYah is deeply committed to cultivating a learning environment that honours personal and cultural wisdom, encourages self-reflection, and fosters authentic professional development. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that transformation occurs in a trusting environment where students feel empowered to bring theory into embodied, ethical practice.
ShediYah brings a wealth of experience supervising counselling students and qualified practitioners. She cultivates a safe space for her supervisees to enhance their growth and strengthen their development as they traverse and embed the complexities of their practice.
