Amy Shapre

Amy Sharpe – NHS Counselling Manager

Amy Sharpe is the NHS Counselling Manager at The Awareness Centre. Her role involves supporting our therapists working within our NHS Talking Therapies service provision, acting as the main liaison between our stakeholders, our team and our therapists for effective and ethical practice management.

Amy brings significant previous business experience from working within the demanding wholesale industry at senior level. This led to a greater understanding of how work stress can impact both physical and mental health; through to developing her therapeutic philosophy that supports the close connection between mind and body. As a qualified integrative therapist, she places great attention towards supporting our team leaders and therapists, managing operational procedures whilst providing support within their therapeutic work.

Amy originally trained within the NHS service; and therefore brings practical and valued experience to her role. In addition to being Senior Team Leader, she also runs a highly successful private practice from the Clapham branch of The Awareness Centre.
