Angele Chevalier
Angele Chevalier offers a warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their inner world at their own pace. As an integrative therapist, her approach draws from a range of modalities including person-centred therapy, Gestalt theory, and solution-focused theory. She places particular emphasis on the mind-body connection, recognising how emotional experiences are often held and expressed physically. Angèle works holistically, supporting clients in tuning into their bodily sensations and understanding how these interact with their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. She believes that developing this kind of awareness can lead to deeper self-understanding, emotional release, and personal growth. Her aim is to support clients in reconnecting with themselves and fostering a greater sense of balance, clarity, and well-being through setting goals for themselves.
With a background in creative writing and marketing, along with extensive experience in customer service. Angèle brings warmth, creativity, and curiosity to her therapeutic work. Her natural ability to connect with others reflects her belief in the power of language, storytelling, and dialogue as healing tools. She has volunteered with both a domestic abuse shelter and an eating disorder charity, experiences that have informed her understanding of resilience, and the complex relationship between body, mind, and identity. She is particularly interested in working with issues around self-esteem, anxiety, emotional regulation, and body image.
Angèle is an integrative counsellor in training and works within The Awareness Centre’s NHS counselling service in Lambeth. She is currently working towards a diploma in integrative counselling and is a student member of the BACP.
