Farzana Numan - Clinical Supervisor
Farzana Numan is a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and Supervisor, with specialist focus on Relational, Emotion Focused Therapy, Trauma and Self Development. She holds an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and a Diploma in Clinical Supervision.
Farzana’s integrative approach draws upon utilizing an extensive range of therapeutic skills and techniques such as Contemporary Psychoanalysis, Person-Centred Therapy and Emotion Focused Trauma work. She has over two decades of experience working in the helping professions including NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT), charitable organizations, teaching and in private practice.
In her supervision work, Farzana aims to provide a collaborative space for discussion, curiosity and debate that empowers the supervisee to work mindfully towards the best interest of their clients and meet their own development goals as a therapist. She values the importance of providing a safe space in which the supervisee feels at ease to discuss difficulties or dilemmas in their work; ensuring reflective practice and experiential learning in the process.
