Greg Janiszek
Greg works to an integrative counselling model using various psychotherapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs. He supports his clients in a safe, non-judgemental and compassionate space. He encourages exploration of feelings, thoughts and patterns of behaviour in order to develop self-awareness and build inner strength and resilience to manage emotional and psychological difficulties independently. He understands how modern life pressures and societal expectations can be overwhelming and induce excessive stress and anxiety which can have a detrimental impact on mood, self-esteem, resilience and personal relationships.
Greg graduated with a Master’s degree in Education with Psychology and qualified as a teacher a few years ago. He worked within different educational settings designing, developing and delivering vocationally specific courses in Health and Social Care. He has experience working for various organisations supporting and coaching vulnerable and disadvantaged adults, many with complex needs, psychological, social and interpersonal barriers. He has focused in his career on helping others recognise the parameters and potentials of their own lives and encouraging them to identify and achieve realistic aspirations and objectives, whether personal, social or vocational.
Greg is an Integrative Counsellor and a member of the BACP. He is currently in training, studying a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and working for the NHS Wandsworth IAPT services.
