Jo Small – Clinical Supervisor

Jo Small is a Gestalt-trained Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor; and is an Accredited member of the BACP. Her qualifications include a Level 6/7 in Clinical Supervision from the Grove Practice; a MA in Gestalt Therapy Theory; an Advanced Diploma in Professional Development and a Diploma in Professional Development.

Jo brings Gestalt Psychotherapy and an integrative approach with specialist experience in working with Trauma, and with those more at risk from suicidal ideation and Self Harm. Through her years of experience as a Gestalt Psychotherapist, she works to integrate body sensations, feelings and thoughts to raise awareness and work through barriers in reaching one’s full potential.

Jo has many years of experience supervising trainees and qualified counsellors working with young people and adults. As a school-based manager and clinical supervisor, she also has vast experience safeguarding young people; and works to support and nurture her supervisees to maintain a boundaried professional framework in which to work.
