Lelde Logan is an integrative counsellor and is registered with the BACP and is an accredited member of NCPS. She works within The Awareness Centre’s low-cost counselling service in Tooting, and is working towards becoming an accredited existential psychotherapist.

Lelde integrates various therapeutic techniques to meet the unique needs of each client. Lelde’s focus is on building a strong therapeutic alliance with each client which she believes is the foundation of any positive change that comes from therapy. Lelde aims to create a safe, and non-judgmental space where clients can share and process their difficulties and move towards more fulfilling and satisfying relationships with themselves and others.

Lelde believes that each individual has the ability to heal themselves and overcome any difficulties they are faced with, and it is Lelde’s aim to help clients to access the inner guidance that lies within them. Lelde will help you to navigate the challenges you encounter in your everyday life and work towards freeing yourself from the burdens of the past.

Lelde has experience working with clients going through depression, anxiety, Complex PTSD, sexual abuse, bereavement, OCD, and relationship difficulties, family issues, and has a special interest in eating disorders.

During eight years in her career as an employment lawyer, Lelde spent a big proportion of her work representing clients experiencing a variety of mental health problems as well as physical health challenges forcing them to be out of work. During this time, Lelde witnessed that a lot of her clients’ mental health issues were exacerbated by a breakdown in communication, mostly stemming from low self-esteem due to their psychological vulnerability and a lack of self-belief. Lelde worked with people from all walks of life, including the most vulnerable individuals going through relationship and mental health breakdowns, problems sleeping, addictions, depression, and anxiety. This manifested in a desire to pursue a career in counselling and psychotherapy to help individuals overcome their psychological challenges and move towards a life full of meaning and purpose.
