Liz Aamli offers a warm, empathic and non-judgemental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences. At the heart of her approach is the development of a strong therapeutic alliance, built on trust, mutual respect, unconditional positive regard and shared goals. As an integrative counsellor she works collaboratively with each client to understand their unique experiences and help them gain deeper insights into themselves. Her approach is tailored to each individual, drawing on concepts from the Person-Centred approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic modalities when appropriate. Her practice is supported by regular, focused supervision and continuous professional development (CPD), ensuring that the client’s best interests remain central to her work while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

With over 25 years of experience in the music industry and teaching children from diverse cultural backgrounds – including those with neurodiversity and special educational needs – Liz is dedicated to fostering a culturally sensitive and inclusive environment where clients from all backgrounds feel valued, heard and respected.

Liz is an integrative counsellor and is currently working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling. She is a registered student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and she works within The Awareness Centre’s NHS Lambeth counselling service.
