Momoko Tsuchida
Hello and welcome. As you are here reading Momoko Tsuchida’s profile, she believes you have already embarked on your journey in exploring what your needs are at this stage of your life and whether she can be of help as an integrative counsellor. She believes in the ability and inner strength of your unique self to fulfil your meaningful life and welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures to a calm and empathetic space enabling you to deepen the understanding of you and what bring you to the therapy. Your therapy provides a confidential space for you to be heard and explore any difficulties that you may be experiencing without being judged. The process would allow you to feel and notice how you relate with yourself and others by beginning to build therapeutic working relationships in your own pace.
Momoko’s interests have been around us human beings. Prior to becoming a therapist working in private practice at The Awareness Centre in Tooting, Momoko has worked in the art sector followed by in education for over 25 years in London including in busy healthcare setting. The experience has deepened Momoko’s understanding and the fulfilment of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds as a team towards shared goals and the possibilities of what we can achieve together through challenges. This means that Momoko’s practice is relational and collaborative and she is open to listen to what you bring to the therapy.
Momoko holds a diploma in therapeutic counselling and integrates different approaches including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT and Mindfulness to support each client’s needs. Momoko’s work adheres to the BACP Ethical Framework and she is in regular supervision and continuing professional development to practise effectively, safely and ethically as possible to promote your wellbeing.
