Momoko Tsuchida
Momoko Tsuchida believes in the ability and inner strength of your unique self to fulfil your meaningful life and welcomes the whole of you to a calm and empathetic space enabling you to deepen the understanding of you and what brings you to the therapy. Your therapy provides a confidential space for you to be heard and explore your agenda without being judged. The process would allow you to feel and notice how you relate with yourself and others.
Momoko’s interests have been around us human beings. Prior to becoming a therapist working within The Awareness Centre and with charities in community settings, she worked in the art sector, observing how different cultures influence each other and yet retaining its uniqueness followed by in the education sector supporting young persons and adults for over 25 years in London. The experience has deepened Momoko’s understanding and the fulfilment of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds as a team towards shared goals and the possibilities of what we can achieve together through challenges.
Momoko Tsuchida holds a caseload of clients as an NHS Integrative Therapist for NHS Wandsworth Talking Therapies within The Awareness Centre. Momoko is a qualified counsellor and working towards the BACP accreditation. Momoko also works in the private therapy at The Awareness Centre. Momoko’s work adheres to the BACP Ethical Framework and she is in regular supervision and continuing professional development to practise effectively, safely and ethically as possible to promote wellbeing. Momoko is originally from Japan and Japanese is her first language.
