Ngozi Nmaju-France offers a warm, reflective and culturally sensitive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions and life experiences at their own pace. Working from an integrative and person-centred approach, she values the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for trust, safety and meaningful change. Ngozi believes that each individual holds the capacity for growth, healing and transformation, particularly when they are able to reconnect with their inner strength, sense of purpose and personal meaning. She also recognises that for some, this may be deeply connected to their sense of spiritual alignment, faith, or connection to a higher power. She remains respectful and open to exploring this where it is meaningful to the client, supporting them in reconnecting with their inner strength, purpose and personal values. Her approach is non-judgemental, collaborative and tailored to each individual, supporting greater self-awareness, emotional resilience and a deeper understanding of self.
Ngozi’s practice is shaped by over 20 years of experience across health, social care and community settings. Her background also includes nursing training, contributing to her understanding of health and wellbeing within a holistic context. Her work has been grounded in supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, often navigating complex life challenges, inequality and transitions. Alongside her counselling training, she leads community-based wellbeing, advocacy and culturally responsive support programmes through Simply Pathways CIC. Her background in safeguarding, leadership and multi-agency working informs a compassionate, grounded and holistic perspective in her therapeutic work.
Ngozi has extensive experience working across NHS-related services, local authorities and private care settings, supporting individuals with a wide range of needs including mental health challenges, complex life circumstances and social care needs. As a Registered Care Manager and Safeguarding Lead, she has worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support. She is currently completing a BACP-accredited Diploma in Integrative Counselling and works within ethical frameworks to provide safe, reflective and professional support. Ngozi brings a depth of real-world experience into her practice, offering clients a space where they feel understood, respected and supported in moving towards positive change.
