Nulu Nawanyanga
Nulu Nawanyanga’s approach is grounded in person-centred therapy, placing the client at the heart of the therapeutic process. They offer a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental environment where clients can feel heard, valued, and understood. They believe that individuals possess an innate capacity for growth and healing, and they work to facilitate this through a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship. Alongside their person-centred foundation, they integrate their background in hypnotherapy where appropriate, supporting clients in accessing deeper levels of relaxation and insight. Their approach is flexible and tailored, drawing on a range of psychological understanding to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
With a background in hypnotherapy, alongside a degree in Business Management, a Master’s in Psychology, and a Level 7 qualification in Strategic Management and Leadership, they bring a broad and informed perspective to their therapeutic work. Their professional and academic experience contributes to a deeper understanding of workplace stress, performance pressures, and leadership challenges, as well as the psychological impact these can have on wellbeing. They have a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, and stress-related issues, as well as those navigating personal or professional transitions. They are committed to ongoing professional development and to providing an inclusive, respectful, and supportive service for all clients.
Nulu is a trainee counselling psychologist and psychotherapist, and a person-centred counsellor. They are a graduate member of the British Psychological Society and are registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. They are currently working towards professional qualification in counselling psychology and psychotherapy, developing their clinical practice through supervised client work across a range of presenting issues. Their experience includes working with adults from diverse backgrounds, supporting clients with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bereavement, and life transitions. They have also gained experience working with trauma-related concerns and emotional regulation, offering a safe, ethical, and confidential therapeutic space.
