She is empathetic, inclusive and open-minded; encouraging clients to fully explore their unique journey and the reasons that brought them to The Awareness Centre. Using Transactional Analysis, she helps clients better understand themselves, their life and lived experiences. Rachel works collaboratively with clients to think about all aspects of their identity, helping to foster a deeper sense of self-awareness and navigate life’s challenges.
Rachel’s background in psychology and wellbeing within the legal sector gives her valuable insights into the challenges people face in demanding environments and a fast-paced world. She understands the complexities of striving for a healthy balance in life and the toll that everyday stressors can take on individuals and their relationships. Stress, anxiety and depression are prevalent within the legal sector and she has seen the impact on individuals, their relationships and broader life.
Rachel’s passion for counselling and psychotherapy stems from her work within organisations and a desire to expand this and support individuals on a one-to-one basis. Rachel is working towards her Counselling and Psychotherapy qualification using Transactional Analysis in her practice, which is a powerful tool for understanding and improving communication and relationships. As a registered member of the UK Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA), Rachel is committed to maintaining high standards in her therapeutic work. Rachel is currently working in the Awareness Centres NHS Lambeth Talking Services.
