Ray is a qualified BACP registered integrative counsellor, combining a person centred and psychodynamic approach to work with clients with a wide range of presenting issues. Integrative counselling means that Ray draw from a variety of models and counselling techniques. This ensures that therapy is unique for each of his clients. Ray’s clients will be treated as individuals and the counselling will be tailored to meet their individual needs. Ray will support you by providing you with a non-judgmental space for you to explore at your own pace. He will be impartial and understanding as you explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Before becoming a counsellor, Ray had over 10 years’ experience working as a group facilitator and 1 to 1 support worker in a drug and alcohol treatment service. Ray facilitated therapy groups with those impacted by stress, anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, loss and bereavement. He has worked extensively with those whose lives have been impacted by their own or a family members substance use. Ray has also worked with those with gambling, food, sex and relationship addictions. He has provided training to several organisations on how to best support their clients who have alcohol and substance use issues.

Ray is an integrative counsellor working in private practice in Tooting, South London. He has a diploma in integrative counselling and is registered with the BACP. Ray has a diploma in Health and Social care and is a registered SMART Recovery facilitator.
