Reaching out to start therapy is a courageous but often daunting experience. Rebecca offers a safe and non-judgmental space to explore whatever is troubling you within your relationship or sexuality. She works empathetically with clients, helping them understand themselves better and create positive change in their lives. Rebecca is an Integrative therapist, which means she draws upon the therapeutic approaches which best suit you or your couple’s individual needs.
As a therapist, Rebecca draws upon her previous professional experiences. She has worked for Tech start-ups, fostering her attention to detail and an understanding that real-world issues are complex. She also comes from a teaching and lecturing background, strengthening her people skills and building an appreciation for cultural diversity. Rebecca practices in a fully inclusive way to support all forms of gender, relationship and sexual diversity. She has a particular interest in female loss of desire and issues around penetrative sex.
Rebecca has completed her Foundation training in counselling, gaining experience within a charity setting and working with a broad range of issues from depression to addiction. She is currently furthering her knowledge by undertaking specialist training in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy. She is a student member of COSRT and The National Counselling Society. Rebecca is currently working as a trainee sex and relationship psychotherapist within The Awareness Centre’s Low Cost Counselling Service at Clapham. She welcomes both individuals and couples to talk through any issues they are experiencing around sexuality and relationships in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
