Violet Karamagi – Senior NHS Team Leader, Wandsworth & Sutton

Violet Karamagi is Senior NHS Team Leader at the Awareness Centre for NHS Wandsworth & Sutton. Within her role she supports the therapists within our services and provides operational support throughout our NHS services.

Violet is also a chartered accountant and draws upon her experience to ensure that the service meets its reporting requirements and key performance targets. She is passionate about mentoring and personal development which she incorporates into her role. Violet supports placement therapists through challenging situations as part of their journey to becoming counsellors. She also works with key stakeholders to ensure that ethical practice is adhered to while running an efficient service provision.

Violet is a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor in Transactional Analysis and is working towards her Masters degree and Certified Transactional Analyst award. She runs a private practice where she offers therapy to individuals and couples. Violet is also a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
