Zoe Ellen is an integrative counsellor who is registered with the BACP and is currently working towards accreditation. Her training and ongoing professional development include integrative counselling, attachment-based work, compassion-focused approaches and neurodivergence-informed practice. She works with adults experiencing a range of emotional and relational difficulties, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s individual needs and circumstances.

Zoe offers a warm, attuned and collaborative therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences at a pace that feels safe and grounded. Her approach is relational and person-centred, shaped by an understanding of attachment, identity and the ways early experiences can influence our relationships and sense of self. As a neurodivergent therapist, Zoe brings lived experience to her work and offers an understanding of the different ways people may process emotions, relationships and the world around them. She works integratively, drawing on attachment theory, compassion-focused approaches and neurodivergence-informed practice to help clients make sense of their internal world. Her style is gentle, curious and validating, with a focus on helping clients develop self-compassion, soften self-criticism, build self-trust and reconnect with their strengths.

Before becoming a therapist, Zoe worked as a personal stylist, combining fashion and creativity with a strong focus on validation, confidence and helping people feel more comfortable in their identity. This experience shaped her interest in how people understand themselves and navigate identity and relationships. Zoe has experience supporting clients with attachment wounds, neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, identity development, anxiety and emotional overwhelm. She has a particular interest in working with clients who feel misunderstood, disconnected or unsure how to express their needs within relationships. Her work is grounded in compassion and a belief in each client’s capacity for growth, while recognising that meaningful change can happen when people feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted.
