Philippa Madden – Senior Course Supervisor

Philippa Madden is the Clinical Supervisor for the TAC Diploma in Integrative Counselling. She qualified as an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor at Roehampton University (BSc Hons 2012) and later qualified as a Clinical Supervisor and a Trauma Therapist. Philippa works in private practice in South London.

Philippa has had over sixteen years’ experience in managing various counselling and mental health services including Mind, HMP Brixton and many London services within the NHS. Before starting her journey to become a qualified therapist she was the Centre Manager for The Awareness Centre.

Philippa really enjoys working with placement counsellors and has a passion to help build ability and confidence in all those she supervises. Having extensive experience of working with trainees and fully qualified therapists, within both line management and clinical supervision roles. She has worked with The Awareness Centre Training School since May 2022 as a course supervisor.
