Denise Sims

Denise Sims is a Psychotherapist, Relationship & Psychosexual Therapist and Integrative Supervisor. She trained at the Metanoia Insitute in London and is a Certified Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist (CTA). She holds a Post Qualification Diploma in Integrative Supervision for Individuals and Groups. Denise is a Registered member of UKCP, COSRT, UKATA, EATA & IARTA.

Denise works with an Integrative approach, drawing on various Psychodynamic, Attachment Theories, CBT & other Humanistic approaches. She has extensive experience in the public and private sectors and works with individuals, couples and groups. She has had experience working as a psychotherapist and supervisor within a variety of mental health organisations and the NHS.

As a supervisor, Denise aims to provide supervisees with a safe and supportive environment. She facilitates a collaborative and reciprocal environment and encourages open dialogue, personal development and proficiency. Her supervision style is inspired by her desire for therapists and supervisees to find their therapeutic style and the belief that one size does not fit all. She also runs low-cost therapy groups for trainee therapists and supervision groups for relationship, couples and psychosexual work.
