Alice Brown is an integrative counsellor and a registered member of the BACP, committed to working within its Ethical Framework to provide safe, professional and compassionate therapy. She holds a BA (Hons) in English Language and is currently working towards an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling. Alice is completing her clinical training at The Awareness Centre and is undertaking a placement in Wandsworth, where she works with adult clients experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Her integrative approach enables her to draw on a variety of evidence-based therapeutic models, adapting her work to meet each client’s individual needs, experiences and goals rather than applying a single approach to everyone.

Alice believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. She offers a warm, thoughtful and non-judgemental space where clients can feel heard, understood and accepted. Her collaborative style encourages clients to explore their experiences at a pace that feels right for them, helping them develop greater self-awareness, resilience and confidence. Depending on each person’s needs, Alice may support clients in exploring how past relationships and experiences continue to influence present patterns, emotions and ways of relating, while also offering practical strategies that can be applied in everyday life. She has a particular interest in women’s mental health and has experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and life transitions. Alice aims to provide therapy that not only helps clients manage immediate challenges but also creates lasting insight and personal growth, empowering them to move beyond coping towards a more fulfilling and authentic life.

Before training as a counsellor, Alice held senior leadership roles within corporate and communications organisations, giving her first-hand insight into the pressures of demanding workplaces, burnout, perfectionism and the challenges of balancing professional success with personal wellbeing. This background informs her understanding of the complex relationship between work, identity and mental health, particularly for professionals navigating stress, change or uncertainty. Alongside her interest in workplace wellbeing, Alice welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds, identities and life experiences, offering an inclusive and respectful therapeutic space. She believes that feeling genuinely heard is often the first step towards healing and is committed to supporting each client in developing a deeper understanding of themselves and creating meaningful, lasting change.
