Andrada is a trainee integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She is currently working towards an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and completing a placement at an NHS GP surgery in Lambeth, where she supports clients with their emotional and psychological wellbeing. Her integrative approach draws on different therapeutic perspectives to understand each person’s experiences, relationships and emotional needs. Andrada recognises that everyone’s story is shaped by their personal history, relationships and wider social environment. She aims to offer a thoughtful, compassionate and non-judgemental space where clients can speak openly, explore difficult feelings and begin to make sense of experiences that may be hard to put into words.

Andrada is interested in both understanding the origins of emotional difficulties and exploring the possibilities for change. Her interest in psychoanalysis informs her curiosity about how past experiences may influence present emotions, relationships and patterns of behaviour. At the same time, her interest in solution-focused therapy encourages her to recognise clients’ strengths, hopes and existing resources, supporting them to identify meaningful steps towards change. She believes that understanding where difficulties come from can sit alongside exploring what clients would like their lives to look like in the future. Working collaboratively, Andrada allows space for reflection, new perspectives and a deeper understanding of oneself, while respecting each client’s individual pace and priorities. She seeks to support clients in developing greater self-awareness and finding ways forward that feel authentic and sustainable for them.

Before training as a counsellor, Andrada worked in real estate, an experience that gave her insight into people’s lives and the transitions they navigate. Her areas of interest include neurodivergence, particularly ADHD, addiction, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and the effects of childhood abuse and neglect. She is also interested in behavioural patterns and compulsive behaviours relating to internet use, pornography, food and alcohol, particularly their impact on emotional wellbeing and everyday life. Other areas of interest include family relationships, motherhood and the social expectations placed on women, especially the challenges of caring for others while maintaining a sense of identity. Andrada is also interested in the emotional experiences of living abroad, including questions of identity, cultural adjustment and belonging. She recognises that moving between countries can offer opportunities for growth while also creating a sense of being caught between places, no longer entirely at home in one country and not yet fully settled in another. These interests inform her appreciation of the many personal, relational and cultural influences that shape each individual’s experience of themselves and the world around them.
