Azita Yorrick – Counselling Services Manager

Azita Yorrick is the Counselling Services Manager at The Awareness Centre. She leads the Clinical Reception team and supports both the Low Cost and Private Counselling Services, helping ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all clients.

Before becoming an integrative therapist, Azita worked for over 20 years as a Personal Assistant across sectors including the NHS, charities, and events. Her career change was driven by a long-standing passion for supporting others, which led her back to education and into the field of counselling. While training, Azita worked as a school receptionist and came to value the power of a warm first impression. This is something she continues to prioritise in her current role.

Since qualifying, she has worked in bereavement support and as a school counsellor, helping both teenagers and adults work through emotional challenges and take steps toward a brighter future.
