Zec is a dedicated trainee integrative counsellor currently providing therapeutic support through the Awareness Centre. As a registered student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), she adheres to a strict ethical framework, ensuring a safe, confidential, and professional environment for every client. Zec is currently completing a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and is aiming to gain significant clinical experience working within the low-cost counselling service in Tooting. Her commitment to delivering high-quality mental health support is available to a diverse range of individuals within the local community.

In the therapeutic space, Zec employs an integrative approach, weaving together multiple modalities to suit the unique needs of the individual. Her practice is grounded in Person-Centred Therapy, ensuring the client feels heard and valued without judgement. This is enhanced by Gestalt techniques, seeking to understand the client’s immediate thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, which encourage present-moment awareness and the exploration of the mind-body connection, as well as Solution-Focused Therapy, collaborating with clients to build solutions in the present and future for those looking to identify practical paths forward. Additionally, Zec is a native French speaker, offering a linguistically accessible space for French-speaking clients navigating the complexities of their emotional lives.

Beyond the counselling room, Zec brings over 25 years of experience as a Pilates teacher and Personal Trainer. This extensive background in physical wellness benefits her therapeutic perspective, particularly regarding the intersection of physical movement and mental health. Her fitness expertise centres on habit formation, seasonal adaptation, and the stress management benefits of exercise. By assisting clients in improving their overall wellbeing while safeguarding their mental health, Zec bridges the gap between the physical and the psychological. This holistic lens allows her to support clients not just in surviving their daily stresses, but in flourishing through sustainable, healthy lifestyle changes.
