Frazer Mccann is a BACP registered integrative therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. He holds a Level 2 qualification in Counselling Skills, a Level 3 BACP-accredited Diploma in Counselling Skills and Theory, and a BACP-accredited Degree in Counselling Studies from the University of East London. In addition, he has completed Mental Health First Aider training and has undertaken Place2Be workshops focused on working with children and young people. His work has encompassed helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, low self-esteem, attachment and abandonment issues, as well as loss, bereavement, and family-related dementia concerns.

Frazer has worked with a diverse client base, including individuals of varying ages, racial and cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientations, ensuring that each person feels valued and understood. His integrative approach is rooted in person-centred therapy, psychodynamic theory, CBT, and existential perspectives, allowing him to tailor sessions to meet each client’s unique needs. With a deep commitment to fostering a safe and supportive space, Frazer empowers individuals to explore their experiences, build resilience, and move towards healing and self-discovery.

Frazer has a wealth of experience in both the care sector and mental health industry, beginning his career as an activity coordinator in care homes. Early on, his natural ability to connect with people became evident, as colleagues and residents alike recognised him as someone they could confide in. This led to his nomination as a mental health first aider, where he received specialist training and further deepened his understanding of emotional support. Through this experience, Frazer discovered his true passion for helping others, which ultimately inspired him to pursue a career as a full-time counsellor. His journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to supporting individuals during difficult times, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and empowered on their path to healing.

Frazer believes that therapy offers a safe and supportive space for self-discovery, helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience. In a world that can often feel overwhelming, therapy provides an opportunity to explore thoughts and emotions, uncover personal strengths, and develop coping strategies that feel right for each person. He trusts that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing, and is committed to walking alongside clients as they find clarity, confidence, and a deeper connection to themselves.
