Nikki Kyriacou
Nikki’s therapeutic approach is grounded in existential-integrative principles, blending philosophical and psychological frameworks to support her clients’ journeys. She provides a safe, intuitive, and deeply supportive space where clients can explore current concerns, make sense of past experiences, and release anxieties about the future. Through an existential lens, she encourages clients to connect with their values, fostering a sense of agency and responsibility in making life choices that feel authentic. Her integrative approach draws on insights from psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural therapies, as well as embodiment practices rooted in her background in yoga and life coaching. This creates a holistic experience that honours the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Her work is collaborative and tailored to each client’s needs, supporting personal growth and empowering decisions aligned with their values and aspirations.
Nikki’s diverse background brings a distinctive depth to her clinical work. Her early career in the performing arts, both as an artist and manager, informs her sensitivity to the creative process and the unique pressures associated with performance. Her extensive travels and teaching experiences have enriched her understanding of diversity and multicultural perspectives, which she integrates into her practice. She specialises in supporting clients through relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, post-traumatic growth, spirituality, identity, autonomy, and pathways to personal transformation.
Nikki Kyriacou is a Counselling Psychologist in training, working towards chartered status with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is currently part of The Awareness Centre’s NHS Sutton Talking Therapies.
