Saima Munawar is an integrative humanistic counsellor and a member of BACP and ISPC, holding an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling. She works in private practice at The Awareness Centre, providing a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where clients feel seen and heard.

Saima views therapy as a collaborative journey, where open, direct communication helps clients explore emotions, patterns, and relationships in real time. She believes in each individual’s capacity for healing and gently guides them through processing past wounds with care and understanding. Her integrative, relational, and creative approach allows her to be flexible and adaptable, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs.

As a visual artist, Saima incorporates creative therapy, using art to connect with the inner child and nurture self-compassion. She integrates body awareness, emotional processing, and resilience-building, fostering a deeper mind-body connection. Saima welcomes all identities, cultures, and beliefs, recognizing how trauma, relationships, and life experiences shape us.

While therapy helps process pain, she also focuses on clients’ potential for growth, equipping them with practical skills and strategies to navigate challenges. Beyond therapy, she finds joy in nature, yoga, the gym, hiking, books, family, and coffee. Saima sees therapy as a path to empowerment, authenticity, and a more fulfilling life, guiding clients toward living to their fullest potential.
