Simon Roberts is a qualified integrative therapist working in private practice at The Awareness Centre in Clapham, London. He is a member of the BACP and works in alignment with their ethical code.

His approach is rooted in both Person-Centred and Psychodynamic modalities. Simon believes in creating a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their true selves. He believes every person has a unique story, and he tailors therapy to the individual rather than following a fixed formula. Simon offers a warm, empathetic and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, explore your experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. By using a psychodynamic approach, Simon helps clients connect with their past to uncover patterns of behaviour that may be affecting their present.

This exploration can be a powerful tool in gaining greater self-awareness and promoting change. Simon is passionate about the restorative quality of therapy, where healing occurs through the development of a trusting therapeutic relationship. Simon has worked with a wide range of clients, particularly experiencing low self-esteem, heightened anxiety, bereavement and complex trauma.

With over 25 years’ experience as a SENCO, I have supported neurodiverse individuals, including those with ADHD and autism. I offer a patient, creative and flexible approach, helping people feel understood, communicate in ways that work for them, build confidence and thrive. He is passionate about creating a warm, inclusive and culturally sensitive therapeutic space where everyone feels welcomed, respected and valued. He recognises and celebrates individual differences, experiences and identities, ensuring clients feel safe to explore their concerns openly, authentically and without judgement.
